North Heartland Community Church…Mission: Transforming people, the Northland and the world with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Here at NHCC, we are passionate about helping people discover God’s grace and truth on a regular basis every Sunday morning through our services which utilize music, multi-media, drama and other creative elements along with relevant teaching to help communicate the importance of God’s word for our lives. We utilize special events for our community and “giveaways” to help others learn about NHCC and invite them to “give us an hour and let us change the way they think about church.”
I was thrilled when I first met with the folks from Visage. It was so exciting to work with people who had not just the ability to get great products but also the creativity to suggest products to match our needs, our budget, and our mission. Twice a year Kerri get’s great art created with our name on it and we put it on hoody’s, t-shirts, tote bags, bibs, blankets, and jackets. People love to wear it and it helps us build name awareness in the community.
I remember during one specific instance we needed a tangible reminder for our folks that people matter to God and to treat people as people and not as objects that get in our way. I talked with Kerri about how often I am tempted to objectify people when I’m stressed (like when I’m running late and the car in front of me won’t go fast enoughJ). She came up with a stress ball that would include the phrase; Remember: People Matter and our logo.. It was the perfect item for us to hand out and people are still using them a year later.
I am continually impressed with the excellent services provided by Kerri and the Visage team and how they can pretty much put your name on anything! They have great ideas, great graphic designers, fast turnaround time, and of course they are willing to shop around for us. They understand our limited budget and get us the best deal possible. They make my job a lot easier!
